Seek to Understand, Before Seeking to be Understood


My greatest accomplishment and love in this life is being a Mother and Grandmother. I am very blessed in this life to have the son I have. He has given me the greatest gift... posterity. I do believe families are forever, in whatever sense you want to take that.

I do not believe that this short mortal existance is all there is, nor do I believe this short duration of time determines where we end up eternally.

I lost my Mother to cancer when I was 27, and more or less, my father at the same time. However, I have been truly blessed in this life to make friends easily. I have one sister, whom I love more than she will ever let herself believe, and for the life of me, I don't understand why she won't accept the love I have to offer, but it is just the way it is.

I live with my companion Penny. She is a 10 year old boxer that I have had since she was 6 weeks old. The day I met her, I saw her from across the street and just knew she was to be with me. I love animals and have had more wonderful furry companions that have been loyal and loving than one should probably be allowed to have in this life. I wish to meet up again with all those spirits after this mortal probation is done. Penny is aging quickly... I feel her pain at times, but she is aging much quicker than I am and it is difficult to watch.

This life is a cycle, just as I believe Eternity is also a cycle. I feel alive when giving, in whatever way is needed, to others.
